PASCALINE BELLEGARDE BIO

 

Pascaline recently acted in two feature films where she had the lead female role: 

  • LA NUIT EST ENCORE JEUNE (THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG) by exiled Sri Lankan director Indika Udugampola, where she portrays a lesbian butcher afflicted with a mysterious curse.

  • SOLITO (released in cinemas in the UK) by Amit Gicelter, where she plays a lawyer who takes on the porn industry.

     

French American, (perfectly bilingual) raised in Missouri, USA, by french parents, Pascaline has performed in some of the top theaters in the United States -- Actors' Theater of Louisville, Mark Taper Forum, Lee Strasberg Institute -- before moving to Paris.

 

Pascaline's extensive training includes master classes with Susan Batson (Acting Coach of Nicole Kidman & Juliette Binoche), and at David Mamet's "Atlantic Theatre" in New York City. She holds a Masters in Fine Arts – Acting degree from California Institute of the Arts (CALARTS) in Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Arts – Acting degree from Washington University in Saint Louis where she earned the “Best Actor of the Year” award and completed "The Actor's Studio of New York" University Program.

 

Pascaline was awarded Best Actress (Festival St. Maur), for her portrayal of a "murderess" in a remake of a Hitchcock short film, LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER. 

 

Pascaline is able to do a variety of screams including screams of joy, the most terrifying screams ever heard and the “Basque War Cry”.  She also has a rare talent for screwing up everything she attempts in the kitchen.
